The distillery Rauter has been established in 1853 and is with its commercial register number 7 one of the oldest companies in Essen. Originally next to the distillery at the premises in central Essen Vita-Zahnfabrik H.Rauter GmbH&Co.KG was resident, which
main branch is in Bad Säckingen now and belongs to the biggest employer of its region.
The company is still in Essen and in the same place like 1853 - however with a ultra-modern infrastructure.
Tabu-Spezialitäten is part of the Rauter group as well. It completes with its exclusive products the extensive assortment.
Felix Rauter GmbH & Co.KG is furthermore owner of a manufacturing company, which is located in Goch at the frontier with the Netherlands. This company is specialised in mass-production of spirits, manufactoring private brands and developing private labels for the national and international trade and export sales.
Moreover, Felix Rauter GmbH & Co. KG acts within the scope of Corporate Real Estate Management and has built a computer center of 5.500m2 office space in the heart of Essen.
